The Waimakariri District Council invites you to share any historic items to help celebrate the Rangiora Town Hall's centenary. Submissions are open until Friday 1 May 2026.

We are seeking:

Photographs
Posters advertising concerts or events
Memorabilia
Stories

Submitted material may be used in a centenary exhibition, ahead of a formal celebration later this year. If you have any questions about the centenary, please email townhallcentenary@wmk.govt.nz

Do you have a story to share about the Rangiora Town Hall? We are especially interested in stories that capture moments where the Town Hall played an important role in people's lives or in the life of the community (e.g. major events, important historical period or change, notable people or performances, or even once-in-a-lifetime moments.
