3D Printing Request Form

Please fill out this form to request a 3D print job.

3D printing has a fee of 20c per gram of filament, meaning that the final cost will vary depending on what you are printing. Currently, we're only able to print in black PLA Filament.

Library 3D printers may only be used to create small quantities and must be lawful. We will not print objects that are:

Prohibited by law
Potentially unsafe, dangerous or harmful to others, such as weapons and their accessories
Breaches intellectual properties such as copyrights or trademarks
Obscene or not appropriate for a public space

Waimakariri Libraries reserves the right to refuse any 3D Print request. Please allow up to 14 days for your file to be 3D printed, and this may be subject to delays during high-demand periods. Library staff will contact you when your print is ready to be collected from your library of choice.
